At EASETRAVELL.CO.NZ, we understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be as clear as possible, although it is primarily governed by the rules of the airline you have booked with.
Refund Process
1. Request
Submit your cancellation request via email.
2. Review
We check the airline's specific fare rules.
3. Processing
Funds are requested from the airline.
4. Credit
Refund is sent to your original payment mode.
1. Airline Cancellation Charges
Most flight tickets are subject to cancellation fees. These fees are determined solely by the airline. Some "Special Promo" or "Economy Saver" fares may be 100% non-refundable as per airline terms.
2. EASETRAVELL.CO.NZ Service Fee
In addition to airline penalties, EASETRAVELL.CO.NZ charges a nominal service fee of $50 NZD per passenger for processing cancellations and managing the refund workflow with the airline.
3. Timeline for Refunds
Once we receive the refund from the airline, we process it within 7 working days. However:
- Domestic Flights: Usually take 7β14 working days.
- International Flights: Can take 4β8 weeks depending on the airline's processing cycle.
4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- No-show (if you do not reach the airport on time).
- Partially used tickets (e.g., one-way used).
- Tickets cancelled less than 24 hours before departure (in most cases).
5. Cancellations by the Airline
If the airline cancels your flight, you are generally entitled to a full refund of the base fare and taxes. We will assist you in claiming this without any additional service fees from our end.
